Receive eligibility letter within 21 days — If no letter in 21 days, presumptive eligibility kicks in automatically until determination is made. Three outcomes: Full / Conditional (trip-type limited) / Temporary.
Certification valid 5 years — Reapplication required even for permanent disabilities. EBP will send renewal notice before expiration.
Use certification to unlock local city supplements — Emeryville 8-To-Go, Emeryville EBP ticket discount, Oakland OPED, Berkeley BRSD (waitlisted), Clipper Access, Easy Does It van service.
Disability or health condition preventing independent use of regular AC Transit/BART. Not all disabilities qualify — ADA standard is inability to use fixed-route independently.
Within ¾ mile of any AC Transit route or BART station. Covers Richmond/Pinole south to Fremont, east to Castro Valley, and into San Francisco. Cross-jurisdiction via One Seat Ride transfers.

City operates its own senior/disabled programs under Measure B/BB. To add on next iteration.
In-Home Supportive Services sometimes covers transport-adjacent services. Alameda County IHSS: (510) 577-1900. Worth a separate section if caregivers are primary audience.
Uber WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle): available in app under "More." Advance reservations required, availability varies. Not yet fully documented here.
NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transport) via Medi-Cal is a separate system — Medi-Cal members with qualifying conditions may get rides to medical appointments covered. Not covered here yet.
